The Instructor Station is a Web based application that allows the Flight Instructor to monitor and control the simulator.
The webserver (cf Microsoft IIS) can communicate over a LAN network with the A320 Simulator core. This means that the webserver (which serves the client web pages) can run on a different PC than the A320 Simulator core, thus improving performance by sharing the load. This is however not mandatory and, if needed, both can run on one single (more powerfull) PC.

Through the Failure Menus the Flight Instructor can trigger and reset failures on the aircraft systems.
